How long should i be enrolled?

The average customer may use our services between 4-8 months. Everyone's situation is different and the credit bureaus may request more supporting documents. Credit reports change every month. This is a month to month process and can take several attempts to work on your credit situation. It takes 30-45 days just for the credit bureaus to respond and to process our work. Working on your credit takes time.

Do I have the right to cancel at any time?

Yes. Clients have the right to cancel the service at anytime. There is no contract or fees owed when cancelling.

How does credit repair work?

Credit repair works by challenging inaccurate or outdated information on your credit report by contacting the credit bureaus (Experian, Equifax, and TransUnion) to request investigations. Credit repair is the process of disputing items that are affecting your credit scores. This happens quite often and many of our customers will see credit score increases, when these negative accounts are removed.

Do i need your credit monitoring service if i have Credit Karma or the Experian App?

Yes. Credit Karma and the Experian app Does Not Imports Data From All Three Credit Bureaus into the system that we use, so we cannot use those apps, it will not work. The only Credit Monitoring memberships that we can use are Credit Hero Score, Smart Credit, IdentityIQ and PrivacyGuard. We recommend using Credit Hero Score, because it is more economical at the time of this writing.

What’s needed to enroll?

Signing up only takes approximately 5 minutes. You'll only need basic personal information: 1) copy of your Driver's License and 2) a Document to prove your Residency (Utility bill, Bank Statement, etc.).

The card you put on file for our services, must be a Standard Credit or Debit card. Our billing system can not process pre-paid merchants, such as: Cashapp cards, Chime cards, etc.

Will deleted items return on my credit report?

Yes, deleted items can return to your credit report, especially if the furnisher (the original company that reported the account) verifies it later or re-reports it during their normal monthly updates. The Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) requires credit bureaus to notify you within five business days if a previously deleted item is reinserted on your report. If this happens, you can dispute the item again.
Sometimes, if an item reports back, it might be from a debt collection account being sold to a new company to "report again". Many of these unverified items can be proven as a duplicate reporting, if the bureaus found it unverified before. It might be an attempt for the reporting company to affect your credit again. It can sometimes be part of the process.

Will paying my bad debts delete the negative reporting?

Paying off your debt doesn't usually delete the negative reporting; it simply updates the collection to show as "paid". While this can make your credit report look better, the negative mark often stays for the full seven years it's allowed to be reported. If the damage is already charged off or in collections and affecting your credit scores, the only thing we can focus on is seeing if the items can be removed. We do not give advice on if you should pay debt collectors or accounts already charged off, you should consult with an attorney.

Will hiring a credit repair company automatically "fix my credit"?

No, hiring a credit repair company does not automatically "fix your credit," as they can only remove inaccurate or outdated information from your credit reports. They cannot remove accurate negative information, and promises of guaranteed results are often red flags of scams and any person telling you this, is violating the Credit Repair Organizations Act and could be in trouble. It is impossible to guarantee results before a consumer signs up for a credit repair service. Usually a person/company fabricating to consumers about this, isn't a real Credit Repair Service and is just trying to scam consumers.

Can I request a refund?

We want our clients to understand how this process works. Clients have the option to cancel services anytime, before a new month of service is started. This prevents any issues over payments. Once our service and document processing is completed, we cannot offer a refund for payments or void any of the credit bureau investigations, as it would be too late.

For example, if you have been enrolled for several months and claim you did not know you were enrolled into this service, there is nothing we can do, except cancel your account from further services. This is similar to creating a Hulu account and months later, request Hulu to refund you, because you forgot you created the account. They will not refund you.

Can i request a Phone Consultation?

Yes, but our customer support number is exclusively reserved for our clients who are fully enrolled in our Credit Repair Service. This filters out basic calls for information that is already available online . Due to high call volume we prioritize calls to our customer's case specific situations. Please email info@SocietalCredit.com and we'll respond within our business hours.

Can my credit get fixed fast?

No, you generally cannot "fix" your credit instantly, as it's a gradual process that takes commitment and consistent positive behavior that may take over several months, depending on the severity of your credit issues. There's tons of "credit repair people" claiming they can automatically fix your credit within a week, month, 24 hours, 72 hours, whatever it may be. These fake stories confuse people and make it harder for real companies to help the people in need. We must continue to follow strict laws placed in our industry, due to those bad characters who make fake statements. It’s unfortunate that people still fall victim to those scams.

What can be removed/what do you work on?

When a consumer uses a credit repair service, it is because they have negative items affecting their credit scores. We accept all situations and will work on those negative accounts. These negative accounts are normally removed IF: They are unverified, reported inaccurately, reported incomplete, no response to the disputes or proven to violate anything in the FCRA or FDCPA.

Most people are affected by late payments, charge-offs, debt collection accounts, bankruptcy filings or anything that is negative on their credit reports. Many consumers see these items get removed if the credit bureaus find that it fits the descriptions listed above. After working on these items and we find there is no solution, we will also notify you of these situations.

What's the difference between "diy Online disputing" and paying a credit repair service?

If you don't have time, hiring a Credit Repair Company is the way to go. When you Do-It-Yourself (D.I.Y. Online Dispute) usually you are simply sending a request to the Credit Bureaus claiming "this negative item doesn't belong on my report". Chances are that basic tactic might not work, unless the reporting company doesn't respond in time (30-45 days). That same tactic will not work when trying to remove Errors, Inaccuracies, Violations and other Negative Items. Most Credit Repair Companies have the experience and more efficient solutions.

Will hiring a credit repair company automatically "fix my credit"?

No. Any person telling you this, is violating the Credit Repair Organizations Act and could be in trouble. It is impossible to guarantee results before a consumer signs up for a credit repair service. The card you put on file with us will be billed when the service payment is due. This is normally the following month after services are completed, on the date you signed up on (unless a different date is requested). You will receive an email in advance, letting you know your payment date is approaching. For example, if you enrolled on January 5th, your payment will be on the 5th of each month.

Will my credit score drop?

We Do Not Control Your Credit Score.
A Credit score will ONLY drop when something Negative is added to your Credit Report for example:

- If you miss a payment your Credit Score will drop.
- If you you apply for Financing (run your credit/add hard inquiries) your Credit Score will drop.
- If you let an account go into Charge-off status or into Collections your Credit Score will drop.
- If you leave balances on your Credit Cards (on the reporting date) your Credit Score will drop.
- If you add new accounts/debt (shortening your average age of credit) your Credit Score will drop.

Credit Repair Companies are not banks and we Do Not Report to Credit Bureaus. When we do a review it will not place a hard inquiry on your Credit Report.
